Absolutely not! DYNOMYCO® contains only naturally-occurring, non-GMO fungi.

With over 400 million years of evolution to draw on, natural mycorrhizal fungi are already well-adapted to help 90% of all plant species.

We’ve selected and screened our strains of fungi to best fit our  growers needs without any modifications.

Not all mycorrhizal inoculants are created equal!

Our proprietary production process results in a uniquely potent mycorrhizal inoculant that truly stands out:

• High concentration: the cost vs. benefit of a mycorrhizal inoculant depends primarily on product concentration.

DYNOMYCO® products contain 900 viable propagules per gram of Glomus intraradices and Glomus mosseae, the two species most relevant to our customers' needs.

• Potentnfungal strains: DYNOMYCO derives from powerful strains of endomycorrhizae, sourced from the harsh Israeli desert.

These fungal strains have evolved to be true survivors, able to adapt and thrive in the most difficult soil and weather conditions.

• Whole inoculum: DYNOMYCO’s active ingredients contain spores, hyphae and root fragments, which support quick plant colonization.

These propagules are grown on living plants in order to best resemble natural conditions and are therefore more resilient compared to lab-engineered products.

• Grounded in solid science: DYNOMYCO® is produced in-house, and is the result of 30 years of Israeli research, and hundreds of field trials worldwide.

We’ve worked with growers  across the globe to identify which species, strains and formulations are most effective.

One cannot under or over-apply mycorrhizae to soil.

However, we don't want good fungi to go to waste.

Please note DYNOMYCO®’s recommended application rates. Don’t worry about over-application; each plant autoregulates its mycorrhization and maintains ideal levels of the fungi.

Usage FAQS

Depending on the growing protocol and operation, the results of effective DYNOMYCO® inoculation will likely become apparent within two to six weeks (though we have even seen improvements within just a few days).

Visual differences may include faster plant growth, larger flowers, richer plant color, more lush and dark, healthier leaves, more potent scent, bushier-looking plants and fewer signs of stress compared to non-inoculated plants.

Other beneficial differences between inoculated to non-inoculated plants may include a healthier root system and root structure (noticeable when transplanting), as well as reduced transplant shock.

We recommend asking us before using fungicides together with DYNOMYCO® inoculants. As a rule of thumb, non-systemic fungicides, herbicides and insecticides are generally compatible with DYNOMYCO® inoculants, while many systemic fungicides are incompatible.

When drenching soil with fungicide, we recommend doing so at least two weeks prior to mycorrhizal inoculation or at least four weeks after planting.

The endomycorrhizal species Glomus intraradices and Glomus mosseae, of the active ingredients in DYNOMYCO®, is considered the “universal soldier of mycorrhiza” because it exhibits relatively little host specificity and thus will benefit most plants.

However, certain soil and growing media conditions may enhance plant responsiveness to DYNOMYCO® and the two species of fungi.

Certain unfavorable soil conditions, such as low water and organic matter content, deficient soil phosphorus and nitrogen levels, heavy metal toxicity, and acidic or alkaline soil conditions may, ironically, further highlight DYNOMYCO®'s impact.

Each of DYNOMYCO’s fungal strains were selected for traits and qualities that help our customers' plants grow optimally in a range of growing media.

High rates of fertilizers, especially inorganic and soluble phosphorus fertilizers, can hinder the formation of mycorrhizae.

Mycorrhizal fungi are sensitive to soil phosphorus levels because if there is already a surplus of phosphorous available to the plant, mycorrhizae have less reason to perform.

High phosphorus soil content will therefore also cause the mycorrhizae to delay or not perform other important duties such as increasing water and other nutrient uptake into the plant.

Available phosphorus levels should be kept in the low to moderate range depending on soil type, especially at the time of mycorrhizal inoculation (when
the mycorrhizae attach to the plant roots).

Organic fertilizers, however, have been shown to exhibit less inhibitory effects on mycorrhizae than inorganic, soluble fertilizers.

The use of organic fertilizers, kelp, humic acids and other carbon sources have been shown to be compatible in combination with mycorrhizal fungi.

Composts are mostly compatible with mycorrhizal fungi, but caution should be taken as some compost sources may have high salt or other nutrient content that can inhibit DYNOMYCO®’s mycorrhizal fungi.

DYNOMYCO® mycorrhizal inoculant must be in direct contact with inoculable roots, which is easier to do during the seeding, cloning, planting and transplanting stages.

However, if mature plants show signs of stress, then an application of DYNOMYCO® by root-ball dusting or transplanting into a new pot with inoculated soil can help greatly.

An additional way of applying DYNOMYCO® to established plants is to poke 4-5 holes around the plant, making sure that the holes are deep enough to reach the roots, and use a funnel to pour DYNOMYCO® into each one of the holes.

Make sure DYNOMYCO® gets to the youngest roots, which are at the bottom, as these are softest and easiest for the fungi to penetrate.

Absolutely! We are strong supporters of natural farming practices which are mostly compatible and even complementary with mycorrhizal inoculants such as DYNOMYCO®. DYNOMYCO® is Clean Green Certified – with similar standards to the USDA National Organic Program -  and is approved for use in regenerative and sustainable agricultural practices.

Initially, we suggest you add DYNOMYCO® into your growing media and stick to your growing protocol.

After you’ve gotten comfortable using DYNOMYCO® and are seeing its benefits, you can begin to change your feeding rates.

We’ve seen yield increases with both growers who have reduced their P inputs and growers who have maintained the same input amounts.
